What is Idarubicin Hydrochloride ? Idarubicin Hydrochloride is the hydrochloride salt of the anthracycline antineoplastic antibiotic idarubicin. Idarubicin Hydrochloride intercalates into DNA and inhibits topoisomerase II, Idarubicin Hydrochloride by inhibiting DNA replication and ultimately, interfering with RNA and protein synthesis. |
1.Idarubicin hydrochloride is used to induce remission in adults with untreated acute non-lymphocytic leukemia and in adults with relapsed and refractory acute non-lymphocytic leukemia.
2.Idarubicin hydrochloride for injection is used for second-line treatment of acute lymphoblastic leukemia in adults and children. Idabicin capsules are indicated for the first-line treatment of adult acute non-lymphocytic leukemia and for patients with relapsed or refractory acute non-lymphocytic leukemia who cannot be given idabicin intravenously.
