What is Thiabendazole? As an antiparasitic, it is capable of treating roundworms, hookworms, and other kinds of helminth species that can attack wild animals, livestock and humans. It also has effects of inhibiting the angiogenesis of cells. The mechanism of action is still not fully understood. It has found that Thiabendazole is capable of suppressing the helminth-specific mitochondrial enzyme fumarate reductase, further inhibiting the citric acid cycle, mitochondrial respiration and ATP production, leading to helminth's death. It may also inhibit the microtubule polymerization processes.

Thiabendazole is recommended in applications especially where humid conditions promote the growth of fungi. Key areas of applications are including.

Application of Thiabendazole

1.Citrus storage diseases are soaked in 45% suspension 1000-5000 mg/kg for 3-5 minutes and kept at low temperature for 2-3 months, still fresh.  

2.Banana anticorrosion with 45% suspension 500-700 mg/kg soak fruit for 3 minutes, remove and cool dry, low temperature preservation, fresh life of more than 1 month.  

3.Rice seedling disease seeds should be mixed with wettable powder containing 180-300 grams of active ingredient per 100 kg of rice seeds, such as 300-500 grams of 60% wettable powder and 200-300 grams of 90% wettable powder.  

4.Apple and pear penicillium, anthracnose, gray mold, black star disease, powdery mildew and other prevention before harvest with effective components of 30-60 grams of liquid spray.
