What is Cefuroxime Sodium?
Cefuroxime sodium is an organic compound with the chemical formula C16H15N4NaO8S, appearance: white crystalline powder. Cefuroxime sodium is a second-generation cephalosporin antibiotic. The antibacterial activity against Gram-positive cocci is similar or slightly worse than the first-generation cephalosporin, but the β-lactamase produced by Staphylococcus and Gram-negative bacilli is quite stable. |
