What is Oxytetracycline Hydrochloride? Oxytetracycline hydrochloride is an antibiotic belonging to the tetracycline class. Oxytetracycline hydrochloride potently inhibits Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria. Oxytetracycline hydrochloride is a protein synthesis inhibitor that prevents binding of aminoacil-tRNA to complex ribosomal RNA. Oxytetracycline hydrochloride also has anti-HSV-1 activity.

Function of Oxytetracycline Hydrochloride
