What is Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate?   Sodium coir hydroxyethyl sulfonate (SCI) is a mild, foaming anionic surfactant with excellent foam stability. SCI has excellent resistance to hard water, low toxicity and good biodegradability. It is mainly used in the production of personal care products, such as soap, body wash, facial cleanser, foam face wash and bath solution.

 

Function of Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate

 

Sodium coir hydroxyethyl sulfonate (SCI) is a mild, foaming anionic surfactant with excellent foam stability. SCI has excellent resistance to hard water, low toxicity and good biodegradability. It is mainly used in the production of personal care products, such as soap, body wash, facial cleanser, foam face wash and bath solution.

Application of Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate

Add 498.6g of choline chloride into the beaker, and then add 1000g of pentafluoroethanesulfonate into the beaker. Keep stirring during the drip process and stir at room temperature until completely dissolved to obtain the low eutectic solvent of choline chlorine-pentafluoroethanesulfonate in this ratio. Add 950.0g of coconut acid, 500.0g of sodium hydroxyethyl acid, and then add 1425.0g of choline chlorine-pentafluoroethanesulfonate low eutectic solvent into the reactor, start stirring, nitrogen replacement for three times, keep nitrogen drum, temperature rise to 140ºC, timing reaction 110min; After the reaction was cooled to room temperature, 3990.0g of anhydrous ethanol was added to the reactor twice for washing and extraction of the product and raw materials. The anhydrous ethanol after extraction of raw materials was separated through positive pressure filtration, and the yield of the final product was 88.5%.
