What is Chlorbenzuron? Chlorbenzon is a white crystal. m.p.199~201ºC. The solubility is 10g/L, soluble in organic solvents such , and insoluble in water. It is easy to decompose when encountering alkali or strong acid, and it is relatively stable in storage under normal conditions, and it is also stable to light and heat.

Function of Chlorbenzuron

Benzoylurea insecticides inhibit the synthesis of insect chitin, hinder the molting of larvae, and cause the insects to die due to abnormal development. It mainly has stomach poisoning effect and also has contact killing effect. The drug effect is slower, but the residual effect period is longer. It is used to control various pests of Lepidoptera, such as armyworm, beet armyworm, litura, poisonous moth, cabbage caterpillar, pine caterpillar, diamondback moth, peach borer, pear borer, etc. It is used from the egg hatching stage to the larval stage .
