Application of Benzylpenicillin potassium
It has moderate antibacterial activity against Enterococcus. Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Neisseria meningitidis, Corynebacterium diphtheriae, Bacillus anthracis, actinomycetes bovis, Streptococcus moniliforme, Listeria, leptospira and Treponema pallidum are sensitive to this product. This product also has certain antibacterial activity against Haemophilus influenzae and Bordetella pertussis. Other gram negative aerobic or facultative anaerobic bacteria are not sensitive to this product. This product has good antibacterial effect on Clostridium, anaerobic bacteria of peptic Streptococcus and Bacteroides producing melanin, but poor antibacterial effect on Bacteroides fragilis.
